Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they fulfill the qualifications prescribed by UGC for the post of Assistant Professor:

• Essential Qualification: A Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/allied subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
• NET/SLET/SET Qualification: Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC (like SLET/SET).
• Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.

Salary and Honorarium details

• Guest Faculty (Good Academic Record): Paid @ Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, up to a maximum limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
• Temporary Assistant Professor (With >= 2 years Teaching Experience): Consolidated honorarium of Rs. 57,000/- per month or Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, whichever is less.
• Outstanding Academic/Research Candidates (Post-Doc/Ph.D. with rich credentials): Eligible for up to Rs. 75,000/- per month based on university standards.
