Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As on 21.06.2026)

  • For Clerks, Typists, and Stenographers: Must be over 18 years and below 42 years of age.
  • For Driver: Must be over 21 years and below 42 years of age.
  • Age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per Government of Odisha guidelines.

Educational & Skill Qualifications

  • For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist / Junior Typist / Stenographer Grade-III:
    • Must have passed at least +3 examination (Graduate) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
    • Must have passed at least a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) from a recognized institute.
    • Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia, and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the Middle English School standard.
    • For Typist: Typing speed of minimum 40 words per minute in English on Computer.
    • For Stenographer: Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and English typing speed of 40 words per minute on Computer.
  • For Driver:
    • Must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • Must possess a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
    • Knowledge of motor mechanism and experience of driving a motor car for at least 3 years is required.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will involve the following phases based on the post:

  • Driver: Written Test (English, Odia, Arithmetic, GK, Traffic Signs) followed by a Practical Trade Test.
