Sarkari Result 2026: Vacancy & Branch Details
The total vacancies are distributed among technical branches as detailed below:
- Mechanical Engineering: 30 Vacancies (Maximum of 08 vacancies for women)
- Electronics & Communication Engineering: 30 Vacancies (Maximum of 08 vacancies for women)
Note: Based on merit and performance during training at INA, 07 candidates will be streamed to B.Tech in Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding at NCW, Kochi.
Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

1. Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or equivalent from a recognized Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Must have scored at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
- JEE Main Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for the JEE (Main) - 2026 exam. Selection/SSB call-letter shortlisting will be based on the All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2026.
2. Age Limit
- Candidates must be born between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
3. Marital Status
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Indian Navy B.Tech Entry comprises the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Based on the JEE (Main) - 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL).
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo SSB interviews at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam starting from September 2026 onwards.
